Congratulations to the Currow team on their great win in the O'Sullivan Cup on Sunday last. Dominating completely from the start, the team gave a great performance. A scoring burst at the end of the first half gave a half time lead 2-4 to 0-1. Pa Dennehy got 2 goals, Liam Walsh 1-2, Jimmy Dennehy 0-2, and Timmy Brosnan 0-1.

After the match, the Cup was presented to the Currow captain, Hugh O'Connor and the "Man of the Match" award went to Timmy Brosnan.

Overall, it was an outstanding performance by the team and was a just reward for the effort put in by trainer, Dan O'Sullivan, and selectors Paddy O'Sullivan, Thomas Murphy and Johnny Brosnan.
